The Vivekanand Polytechnic, Sitasaongi is situated on State Highway No. 87, connected by the road and the board gauge railways.It is 21 kms. away from Tumsar on Tumsar - Katangi - Balaghat Road and the nearest railway station is Goberwahi. It is also situated in the Industrial mining belt of Chikla - Dongribuzurg - Tirodi mines of Manganese Ore (I) Ltd. This is the first Institution in the backward area of Vidarbha. It has got highly qualified personnel for imparting technical education. Apart from this, the institution is having a full fledged Workshops, Laboratories and other Training facilities.

Vivekanand Education Society, Sitasaongi, Tahsil: Tumsar, District: Bhandara (M.S.), has been rendering yeoman services, by imparting quality education to the students, living at such a far flung place, for the last over three decades, in true Gandhian spirit.

The academic education imparted to students from K.G. to standard X and technical education up to Diploma level can match any of its sister institute, anywhere in the country. I consider it a privilege to be a part of this august educational institution.
