The medium of instruction for Diploma courses in Engineering / Technology in all the institutes is English.

Physical fitness: Head of the institution at his or her discretion may refer any candidate to the appropriate medical authority for ascertaining the physical fitness of the candidate to undergo the requirements of the course. The report of medical authority shall be submitted to the Regional Head of Technical Education for further necessary action. It is to be noted that physically handicapped candidates are not provided with any additional facilities as far as the academic activities pertaining to the course is concerned.

Head of the institution may verify the antecedents of anycandidate through the appropriate police authority. The report received from police authority shall be submitted to the Regional Head of Technical Education for further necessary action.

Excess admissions :If any Admission Authority or Principal of any institution makes admissions more than the seats as specified in the rules, the examination authority shall not allow any of such candidates to appear in any of the examination unless permitted by the Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai. Such an approval to excess admission shall not be granted later than 25 days from making such admissions. Number of seats equal to the number of excess seats shall be reduced from the intake capacity for the concerned course in the concerned institution for the next academic year.
